The Grape, Raisin & Nut Expo is held every year at the BIG Fresno Fairgrounds, in Fresno, California, the heart of Central Valley grape & tree nut country. It is produced in cooperation with the Central Valley wine, table and raisin grape and the nut industries. There are nearly 6,000 grape & tree nut growers and PCAs in this area.
This event along with other Malcolm Media Ag Expos has generated nearly $150,000 in scholarship endowments for the viticulture programs at Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, Fresno State, Santa Rosa Junior College and UC Davis.
Randy Rocca, a raisin grower in Kerman, said of the Grape, Nut & Tree Fruit Expo, "I've been coming to this show for many years. We enjoy meeting with farmers and friends; plus we get a lot of great information about the challenges we are overcoming in the valley."
Raisin grower Ray Fujita said of the Grape, Nut & Tree Fruit Expo, “I enjoy the grape seminars, meeting with grower friends, and seeing all of the exhibits; and I appreciate getting my Continuing Education credits here.”
"Malcolm Media has done a great job putting this show together. We have had a terrific volume as far as people coming by the booth. There's been a great turnout of growers and professionals in the industry. Everybody has been so friendly and wonderful to visit with." -- Julie Grebe, Ag Pro Systems
