They put on a lot of great exhibits and equipment for us to look at and evaluate. They put on a good seminars that help us get our continuing education credits, and we enjoy the time to gather and visit with other growers."

|Grape grower, Patti Quaschnick & Walnut grower, Kimberly Walsh traveled from the Lodi area to attend the Tree & Vine Expo. They, along with their friends and neighbors, have been attending the Expo for a number of years. “We look forward to coming every year,” said Quaschnick. “I like talking with the vendors and hearing all the speakers.” She went on to say that events like this are a great way for growers to connect and hear information about their industry. Walsh agreed and said that the seminars are always helpful. “I enjoy the overall event,” said Walsh. “Breakout sessions geared toward specific topics would also be helpful as it's really nice to listen to someone who is talking about your specific crop area.” She noted the “State of the Walnut Industry,” presentation was very beneficial. “I left with much useful information,” said Walsh. "And I look forward to coming again next year.”

The Tree & Vine Expo is held every year at the Stanislaus Fairgrounds, in Turlock, California, the heart of North Valley wine grape & tree nut country. It is produced in cooperation with the North Valley wine and nut industries. There are nearly 6,000 grape & tree nut growers and PCAs in this area.
This event along with other Malcolm Media Ag Expos has generated nearly $150,000 in scholarship endowments for the viticulture programs at Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, Fresno State, Santa Rosa Junior College and UC Davis.
